The PRR T1 represents the final expression of high speed steam locomotive design, and driver sponsorship for 5550 is an excellent way to leave a lasting impression on Railroad History. It is now possible to sponsor one of 5550's entire drivers for $24,000. The names of those who choose to sponsor a driver in its entirety will be cast into the driver itself and will remain for posterity as an essential and highly visible element of the Thoroughbred of Steam.
