Lots of other great updates on the boiler, wheels and frame. Enjoy and be sure to share so your friends know what is going on.
Article on The Drive comes out
We picked up two more main drivers today. These have been on display at the Youngstown Steel Heritage Museum and Railroad. We want to thank Rick Rowlands and his team for the help they give the PRR T1 Trust. We love working with other groups.
We have the last drivers on order from the foundry.
Frame construction is right around the corner!

Harrisburg Open House and showing boiler off
We would like to thank our awesome volunteers that came out this weekend and helped out for the Open House. Dr. Brad Noble, Scott McGill, Jason Johnson, Wesley Heinz, Paul Nichini, Nick Nichini, Wes Camp, Jim Lesiak and Gwen. These guys and gals did a great job with the crowds as well as the presentations. If you made it out, feel free to post some pictures below.
Until next time...
Building a mainline steam locomotive is like getting a piece of furniture from Ikea with no instructions. Luckily we have some rather smart people to figure out how to put it together. Here you can see the Throat Sheet (front section of firebox) in pieces getting shipped from Tennessee to St. Louis to be welded to the rest of our boiler. We would like to thank contractors FMW Solutions for forming the new Throat Sheet. We can't wait to see this installed.
