The Trust’s supporters came through once again and helped to fund the third section of 5550’s massive boiler, made by Continental Fabricators in Saint Louis, Missouri. With the third course welded in place, the boiler now stretches an impressive 18 feet, 2 inches in length, over 93 inches in diameter and tips the scales at over 25,000 pounds.
